What's the alternative? Allow shitposting to reign supreme like we did last year? Maybe it's time to face the facts and come to terms with the idea that moderation cannot retake the board alone, not without the support of good posters.
But most of those are gone and shitposting is quickly becoming the dominant board culture. I wish there was a solution, something that could make this board decent once more.

I don't even know anymore. In-house trolling with some a dash of confused outsider flavor? An actual backlash to the reported trend? Or probably just people bored with the board and trying to amuse themselves.

I just wish /jp/ could take it easy instead of worrying so much about outsiders and elitism. I hope we can make it through this season.
