This was probably one of the most powerful scenes to me. I can't remember it very well since I haven't played it so long, but I can still remember it being so surreal. After the two draw and begin to die, doesn't Shirou start to think of Rin and Sakura fighting and how it never mattered? Whether Rin wins and Sakura dies or vice versa, he thought it was all pointless.
I wish I had saved some of it.

So... I'm playing FSN for the first time ever even though I'm a hardcore Tsukihimefag because I wanted to wait for the full translation before I start it.

The VN has topped all my expectations, the people who claimed that Nasu really improved after Tsukihime weren't wrong. The writing is top notch and not as jumbled as it was in Tsukihime and the character development seems a lot more natural too.

But now... I just got to this part and I had to stop playing for a while just to facepalm multiple times. I... I can't even describe this feeling of utter disappointment in words. I had a bad hunch before this scene and it seems my worst fear really came true. This is just corny, clichéd and horrible beyond anything.

I felt so incredibly let down after everything up to this point delivered that I just had to make a post here, even if just to vent.
