I mean honestly, I love Babymetal but even I have to admit that some of their music can be kinda corny, cheesy, contrived, and gimmicky at times. Especially when you know that they don't even write any of the music themselves. They're essentially a girl group singing and dancing in front of a metal band. Like a Japanese Spice Girls fronting Metallica or Slayer. Band-Maid is by far a much better group for lots of reasons. Band-Maid is a legitimate, talented rock band that was formed organically by real musicians not by a corporation or producer. Band-Maid actually writes and plays their own music, all the members are talented at each of their respective instruments. They're not being controlled or exploited by a huge, incompetent talent agency like Amuse. They're not part of the toxic, unhealthy idol industry. And they still have the kawaii factor with their maid aesthetic like Babymetal does with their stage outfits. Band-Maid's music is just better and more mature and consistent overall. I mean, they've consistently been putting out great music and solid albums for 8 years now, on an average of one album every year since 2014. Plus, all 5 members of Band-Maid are very beautiful, especially Saiki and Misa. Also, their fans aren't aggressive, hostile pedophiles or always jerking off to them like most of the people here.
