She has some good scenes but she's mostly a secondary character in terms of screen times. The opening is a fucking honey trap, though. The main series itself is actually pretty much a semi truck of feels smacking into you on a near constant basis dealing with themes of death, rebirth, sorrow, betrayal, acceptance, etc.

Hell, one of the biggest examples of such was An orphaned brother of a younger sister who got sexually assaulted dying after avenging her by killing her assaulter. He ended up killing the detective who he plays a game of air hockey against where pucks corresponding to parts of your body cause pain when a goal is scored with them and when the latter explains to the former that he WATCHED the rape because the 'world is cruel' and that he would do it again, the kid fucking takes a kitchen knife and shatters all of the restrained man's pucks, causing him intense pain throughout his entire body that was near indescribable.

They both got sent into the Void, which is essentially a black abyss where your soul is forever feeling like it's falling and all the negativity of your life engulfs you for eternity, rather than the kid being able to reincarnate and see his sister in another life.

Shit's bleak but definitely worth the watch if only for Nona and Kurokami-No-Onna.
