I can understand that. I suppose what I meant is that they seem of a mind to use Mano as platform for launching S/mileage. Mano took care of them and loved them, as Mano would never do any differently. I imagine she was both quite sad and yet very happy when they left and became successful.

I didn't mean to insinuate at all that their own ability wasn't an important factor.

They will always be Mano's Eggs to me though, but they are S/mileage too. They are both, and both are wonderful things, even if S/mileage itself doesn't speak to me as it does to some.
