It doesn't cause any wounds and harms your spirit instead, causing you to leak spirit energy, and thus weakening you. It's not lethal in any way, as that wouldnt fit in the hugbox and it is favored by MG and especially the demon army.

Demon silver is also easily imbued with demonic energy, making cursed equipment that can transform woman who wear it. That and any woman getting struck by a demon silver weapon will quickly transform.

There was a nice little pastebin that described a practice battle between a human army and an MG one. That one involved both sides using demon silver.
