Yeah the leg wasn't finished that's why the foreshortening looks wrong.
Then again your problems with the head, I don't see how anyone can be so ignorant.
First of all the head-position isn't too far forward if you look at the shoulders, you just can't see the neck and that's why you're making uneducated guesses.
The size of the head is fucking intended, I don't see how anyone can be this stubborn and keep pointing out that the head is too big.
