Grab a bunch of manga and a handful of cash. Go out to a mid-level restaurant. Settle down and eat nothing but appetizers, desserts, and adult beverages while you openly read your manga. Spend at least two hours there. Tip twenty-five percent.

...or

Load up a backpack with supplies. Go get lost on purpose. Go walking through a park, or something. So like 3, but without meeting nice people (that so rarely happens)

Or

Get on meetup.com and find some clubs that share interests with you. Boardgames, say. Also, maybe schedule an exam with mensa. They might be a valuable social club for you. I'm considering joining. I'm sure they've got plenty of socially awkward people, but the two guys I met who I found out were mensa members were never dicks or braggy about it. I wouldn't have even known if I hadn't recognized the symbol.

Or you can do what I do: Play through Shadows of the Collossus, Ico, Uru, and Portal. Read an entire series of Manga. Watch a Miyazaki movie. Marathon Kimagure Orange Road.

I don't urge 1. I've tried it many times, and the only times I didn't feel super depressed afterwards were when I went to a Soapland in susukino and enjoyed the 'bubble dance' but didn't orgasm. If you're much like me, you'll find the types of hookers you have access to now a bit...

"Why am *I* paying *you*?"

Also, Happy birthday, Anon. I'd take you out if you were in Oahu
