I'm new to these games, and I've started with 7 as 6 doesn't have a visible hitbox. I can't get past stage 4 for the life of me.

Also the real reason I'm posting this. I used to have 3 continues, now I have 4. What the fuck? Did I change a setting on accident or something? I only see an option for lives.
