It should take place in India. The best place to dispose of a body is the Ganges River. People dump their loved one's corpses in it when they can't afford a full cremation. Corpses floating in the water is so common that people who have no other choice bathe and brush their teeth in the same river.
Maybe that would be too easy of a solution for hiding a body. It could work as a red herring, I suppose.
