Ikuta is a mediocre pianist at best. Ikuta is the sad existence of most second children. Her elder sister is the pride of the family, and was successfully tiger mom'd into Toudai. Ikuta failed to perform well at anything, terrible at ballet, couldn't grasp her constant tutoring, etc. The only thing she showed any competency at was playing piano. And she's just a mediocre pianist.
