I'm just buying the Special Edition American Release when it come out in the next year or two, but there are more rare Japanese films that need to be bought; I.E the movie Ken, The Sword or hey maybe Funky Forest.

Has anyone seen Funky Forest all the way through?

It's really whatever at this point.

Japan will always have Kendo and Oh Merciful God I hope they don't allow it into the Olympics.
Why?
It would kill the very meaning of Kendo.
Aesthetics and tradition.
Its not primarily for winning, but how the strike is executed.
I hope to be a great warrior in Kendo.

I am finally signed up for Kendo next semester.
Finally my word and flesh can become even more synchronized with this warrior hope of mine.

I go to school, weight lift, hang with friends, clubbing, date, study Warrior Codes, collect/read books on ignored South & North American History, study my faith, draw, paint with the very little resources available, study other cultures, and secretly practice hidden Kendo/sword techniques................/jp/ is the only one that know that last one. It's a secret.

If any newbs decide to ask if I am that faggtard "Ken-sama" I'm not.

There is a lot of weight lifting and running
You have to get a license, which costs money.
In the end if there's no pain there's no gain bro.
Almost no money can be made in the sport today, so it might be more of a hobby for you where you can make a few bucks on the side at matches.
If you're worried about the boxers, than I think you should start lifting. People probs won't make fun of you. You can get strong and big fast if you put your best in at least twice a week. After that you could make a transition to boxing. I don't know about the injuries though...
