So, imagine you're a female in an alliance with another female to try and break a third girls' hold on a guy (they're close, but not dating) and turn some of his attention to you. What types of things would you do? He's a little socially dull and probably won't respond well to sexual appeals, and you're both a little too shy for that type of thing. Modern western setting if it matters.

My imagination's currently failing me, so I'm hoping the Internet (and probably soap operas) could help some...

Probably because it is so damn good. /jp/ has a fondness for trolling and ridicule, and something that's actually quality falls off the scope.
A focused storyline, realistic, non-moeblob characters, a serious, grimdark tone, and interactive detective work. It's a great game, and one I wish there were more of.

I would also probably steal Toko (Kuchiki) and talk to her for hours, because she's damn awesome.

Should also add: most western works I know are too predictable with their character development (assuming they even focus on t0eh characters), especially having too strong definitions of 'good' and 'evil'. While the Japanese works have problems of their own, they're generally good about those things.
