I love the 80s and 90s artstyle and from a technical POV I think it's a lot better than post-00's art. But I wouldn't say 80's girls are as cute as girls with modern art. It's just a shift in style from detailed, mature, gritty and sexy art to more simplistic, artificial, soft and cute art. It's possible to like them both.
Me not liking rhino noses is just a personal nitpick.
