I think I like the OP. This is a strange feeling. I have almost no desire to post some sort of sarcastic insult. It's not exactly on topic or anything with it being an intro thread but he seems nice and posts like he's on a text-only BBS. Maybe it's just the Sakuya avatar? I can't get mad at the best Touhou.

It's fine to die a million times on normal mode when you first start playing. Just keep trying and get through the game a few times, no matter how many continues you use. Eventually you'll start beating it with less and eventually no continues, which is when you start feeling like normal is just a training mode so you start playing the game for real.
