Not completely related, but I've often hear about how KanColle is one of the rare social games that doesn't really require dropping money into it despite its popularity (especially when compared to Im@s CG).

Just how bad was it in CG anyway? I played Im@s2 so I have some inkling of how scamco is, but it seems like CG was much much worst.
