I think it's more about complaining about video games being discussed on /jp/ when 4chan has this ass-backwards definition of video games of "Whatever goes on in that board I don't like over there next to /w/," with the reason for said complaint being "I believe we don't act more retarded than they do." When, in fact, we're just as dumb and retarded and newfag and whatever insult you care you come up with; we just talk about different games.

So the basis for the complaint? Kind of irrelevant. The only real traction these guys have is indeed, some things discussed on /jp/ are not relevant to /v/, and some things on /v/ are not relevant to /jp/.

The DLC was something of a letdown.

First off, the Binary World is entirely unvoiced, which makes progress slow as hell and comprehension a bit spotty when your rune levels aren't that high like mine aren't. That's bad enough on its own, but it also seems like not a single new drawing has been done for it aside from the level map, as everything is pictures of the 3-D models, reused sprites, and reused backgrounds. It does seem like they made some 3-D video going by the preview on PSN, however.

The writing doesn't impress much either, going by the first chapter it seems like very eroge-esque setup focused around Ar Ru and Aoto's hormone-driven adventures. I didn't exactly enjoy the awkward conversation about how daring all the girls' swimsuits are. (Although, I did enjoy Ar Ru blushing a little bit.) Oh and the swimsuits are just the 3rd level purge sprites, as I mentioned no new artwork.

The Harvestasya mods only change her lines in the previously existing game events, so you'll have to play through at least once more to make the appropriate saves to see all of the different variations.

Given the choice between doing that or clearing more character endings in Atelier Totori to make way for the true ending, I chose the fully voiced option with real swimsuits.
