Ah, thats really interesting. I was thinking of checking out 初音ミク sings ハルメンズ. I listened to the xfade and it sounded neat, it even had a demo from one of Miku's lost little brothers one of CFM's abandoned child vocaloids. I think I'll check it out next.

Oh trust me, man. When I first discovered it years ago thats exactly what I did but with just exit tunes albums since I didn't know where else to start with. I stopped doing that for space related reasons.

Not wrong at all. That's one of the things I like about VOCALOID, its a bottomless pit of content that's guaranteed to have something you like. It's what's kept me around for more than 10 years now
