First of all, it's only against the rules for ranked (and possibly not even in low rank, I forget), no one gives a shit about streaming casuals/friendlies without delay.
Second of all, why would you cry when someone calls kan on your discard? That's not guaranteed to actively harm you in any way. In fact, odds are just as likely that it'll either be bad for the opponent or good for you.
