Rin is an excellent example of what I'm talking about. He takes endless verbal abuse from her and never even _thinks_ anything is wrong with her behavior. If I was in Shirou's position, I would have punched her teeth inside her gums at this moment then projected the Rule Breaker and stabbed the arrogant whore with it so that Saber doesn't need to take her shit either.

It doesn't stop with Rin of course. Ilya and Sakura are forgiven any atrocity, Taiga never gets talked back at, the only woman he even remotely defends himself against is Saber and even her only when Saber apparently isn't abusive enough for him and doesn't let him get wounded in her stead.

I truly fucking hated Shirou almost through the entire FSN.

Rin is a character in the finest Asuka tradition: an annoying, belligerent, arrogant whore with a side dish of being a manipulative smug cunt too. I suspect you play as her in the prologue only so that you wouldn't want to kill her the first instant you see her, and that still didn't work for me.

Sakura starts out as a nice, straightforward damsel-in-distress moeblob but later it turns out that her 8and everybody else's in the arc) greatest source of distress is her own goddamn stupidity.

The only character whose route didn't make me hate her was Saber, probably because she started out as a blank slate, turned into a standard love interest model 101A and had the good sense to die before she would have inevitably been turned into a gigantic bitch like every other Type-Moon female character.

Finally, Shirou is the most pussy-whipped character I have ever seen. He accepts any ridiculous injustice without complaint as long as it's got a vagina attached to it somehow.

Rin is either adorable or a total whorebitch depending on how seriously you take her when she tries to act tough.

Way to lower my opinion of you to zero right in the middle of the so-called "good" ending of your route, Rin. I didn't expect that "making the biggest mistakes at the most important moments" thing to carry over to real life.

I think the true ending just became the good ending because it allows Shirou to leave this whore behind without harming Saber.
