Lmao, git gud. A perfect "awesome" streak will give you 100% (and if you get no more than just a few Awesome (E/L), you can still have enough for SSS). You don't even need a full combo to achieve an S-rank as long as you don't miss in the middle.
And I second the timing tuning advice, it's basically necessary. Also don't start with Lost Word Chronicle, it's a song that's one level above the rest. If you're playing on an emulator, assign keys to the left and right sides (I use the arrow keys) and play using both hands while looking slightly unfocused at the center of the screen rather than tracking each individual spirit with your eyes. Spend some time to find the timing of a button tap where you get an Awesome, memorize, and perfect it. They come at you with different speeds even within the same songs, but you just need to remember the position of the little dude on the screen that should activate your neurons to smash that button.
