KanColle was released 25 years too late. It should have been a PC-98 game. Shibafu's art would have been good pixel art. The gameplay would have been forgivable. Just look at your shipgirls, their simple and elegant designs simply don't belong in the colorful 21st century, they would look better and be better appreciated had they been a product of the 90s. Most of all, had KanColle been one of the first online games, it would have been revolutionary, because of how important communication between players is for events.
