Your 5k budget is tempting to recommend something like the Sanhui with Marie Rose head an anon has in these threads. Really nice looking doll and sounds like he is very happy with it. Thighs and boobs are supposed to be pretty soft with the gel implants.

On the other hand, its often recommended to go for a cheaper TPE doll first to dip your feet into it. Mizuwali designed dolls sound liek a good bet if you're after plump thighs and ass and huggable. You can't really beat Piper TPE for softness. Not everyone likes the less realistic/more fantasy look of them, so you'd have to decide that for yourself.

You could get some TPE/silicone samples if you contact a vendor. You'll probably have to pay shipping, but its worth it to get an idea of the materials. I know Piper offer samples and will then refund the cost if you end up buying a doll.
