- Do you go to game centres a lot?

Game centres are great because they have such a good balance of different kinds of games. When I'm at home of course, and also when I'm on the road for work, I always stop in at a game centre. These days, I'm into the card-based "Network Taisen Quiz Answer x Answer". I really do love quizzes. I also like watching quiz shows, and I learn a lot from them.

With a quiz game, you can do kanji quizzes, reading, history, puzzles, all giving your brain a workout to stop it from going soft. I think schools should make more use of games. Having fun while learning makes it more effective. I think kids would absorb knowledge better if they spent as much time having fun with a game as they do learning it in a hard classroom environment. And it would make them want to learn more. So, I think maybe schools should bring in things like DSs and PSPs.

- What about making your own game?

I want to make an RPG. Something not too difficult. One of the good things about Dragon Quest is that the explanations are all in simple hiragana. I want to make a simple and easy to understand RPG that children and adults can enjoy. It's my dream to produce a game someday.
