(On my machine) when I select only lang_en it doesn't pull dependencies(I think this is why at some point it wasn't finding version.js even if I had manually downloaded and moved the whole /nmlgc/) but if I add base_tsa it will also import the correct dependencies. I understand that you want to keep it short anon.
IMO these are the important things to include regarding thcrap on Linux:
1. If using the latest version you will need to download the base patches from https://mirrors.thpatch.net/nmlgc/ and the desired optional patches from https://srv.thpatch.net/lang_en/
2. The base patches goes inside repos and the optional patches goes inside thpatch
3. If the above doesn't work fallback to the standalone patches
These three points should be enough for Linux people to figure it out.
Also probably it's better if you don't include that wget command I used above cause if many people use it it may ahem easily crash thpatch servers lol.

That may also be a solution, just make sure it works on Windows, maybe it's even better in general to have the patches already downloaded.
