It's symbolic.

Wine is suppose to signify class, youth and beauty and longevity which were all stolen from Rika as she cannot grow old.
The glass itself, where she holds wine, is even more symbolic as she pours it in a kids cut, signifying her youth but adding something that only adults would drink. Representing her youth and her old age at the same time.
