I'm not the biggest Hecatia fan in the world but I can come up with a few reasons:
1. Her sense of style is radically different from all the other girls.
2. She's a foreign god in Gensokyo. She is heavily based on, if not literally, Hecate of Greek mythology.
3. She is the ruler of Hell.
4. ZUN has stated she is the most powerful 2hu.
5. She's grouped with Junko and Clownpiece.
6. She's tied to the Kanmari meme.
7. She's cute when she's crying.

Shortly after >>39742024 died I dreamt Hecatia said "replacing the thread is annoying" I said "well he killed it by throwing a hissy bitchfit", seeing a dragonform invader run up ahead of me on some stairs towards a door poking me with a Murky Handscythe and dropping a stalk dung pie. Then Hecatia was with a couple of other characters looking through /jp/'s catalog trying to come up with a thread to get rid of, hovering over /djt/ which had a Jimmy Kimmel Live! talkshow thumbnail reluctantly so I said "what, you guys like /djt/?"
