the shape of the curve (% understood vs. vocab size) is interesting. here's jpdb on evangelion, but all works have the same curve. extreme diminishing returns, it seems like getting from 90% -> 95% and 95% -> 100% understanding are steps just as large as getting from 0 -> 90%.
