what should I do now? I only have enough commanders left to defend once. if I let xavier have my shit I might be able to finish off the area I was invading next turn but then I lose at least one of my areas to the demon army and probably another on the turn after that.

I can also go back to a previous save and save all my commanders for defending and try to resume invading after the demon army attack.
