Alternatively, even if you don't want to get into shitpostcoding that is era, you can simply use your fantasy and imagination to create a write up for every single interaction or event you had thought of in a plain ass txt file with comments where you think it should be seen in the game. That's how I implement new events myself.
Then after a little bit of back and forth I can imagine it can be fully implemented and tweaked with all the feedback; there it's all done.
