It was exactly what I said and thought it would be; the stuff we already knew but told in greater detail. There was some really fucked up stuff in there though. Like for example Maki coming home one day finding her family mourning over fathers corpse in the dining room? Messed up.

And I can't even tell if the actors that acted out these insanely tragic scenes did more damage or good.
Either way, the special was really good. And according to Maki it helped with the closure, and it was a step to help her move on with her music career.
