I have a really hard time killing any heavily armored ships with carriers (which is kind of ridiculous considering reality), unless they get a crit. I feel like I have to have battleships to do anything to enemy battleships (except night combat where anything goes)

I've just been using the VPNgate servers, that was like the first thing I came across searching for "Japanese VPN" and they've worked fine for this. Kind of ironic that Japanese created that project to help Chinese bypass their country's censorship and now I'm using it to bypass Japanese gaijin blocks.
