I didn't like Aiko back in 2014. I still don't like her very much, but she grew on me. Or maybe it's that I grew to respect and admire the affection for her the way I do for all the girls that aren't necessarily in my top tier. It would be painfully boring if everyone conformed to the majority's approved top choices. The ones that go after the unpopular girls, they keep things interesting and different.

Either way, the point is people's tastes and attitudes can change over time, like his did. I will stand up for anyone's right, including yours, to post any gaku, whether it's full bore waifuism or half-hearted appreciation or a newfriend's first gakufu or poking fun. It's their right to enjoy any of these idols, just as it's your right to hate them. But you're not going to stop them from posting gakus, no matter how hard you try.

Aiko is the student council president this year, so you can expect to see a lot more of her. Get used to it is my advice. It's going to be a long and sleepless year for you if you're compelled to correct the record every time someone even implies they legitimately like her. Or whatever. Do what's best for you.
