So this will be sketchy (but its where the fun is right?)
The number 3301 have to somehow be related with literal cicadas maybe. There was a theory about being related to Magicicada (or named periodical cicada) because of the prime numbers.
>Not only are the periodical cicada lifecycles curious for their prime numbers 13 or 17, but also their evolution is intricately tied to one- and four-year changes in their lifecycles. One-year changes are less common than four-year changes and are probably tied to variation in local climatic conditions. Four-year early and late emergences are common and involve a much larger proportion of the population than one-year changes.
>Body size conservatism across a major life cycle shift appears to be unique to periodical cicadas. In insects, a drastic change in larval period length, such as from univoltine to bivoltine life cycles in crickets, is expected to result in a noticeable change in body size.
>the body size differences between recently diverged (meaning species that separated from the more ancient species of cicada in their evolution) 13‐ and 17‐year species were negligible, while more anciently separated taxa in the Decim group showed notable differences (see pic related to be less confusing)

So tl;dr:
Grabbing this shit, there seems to be something related to this age/size (intrinsic growth rate) thing which we notice a case unique to Magicicada that between a cycle type of 13 years and a cycle type of 17 years (difference of 4 years), the size of the cicada doesn't change like it should like every other insect with these cycles. This means that during that 4 year period the cicada didn't grow larger like it should which is weird.
Lower-case letter λ can be related to "long-term intrinsic growth rate of a population" this age/size thing. Also the value of 30 for this letter.
Lowercase letter δ can be related to a "change in the value of a variable in calculus" or more known to be related to derivatives which are "rates of change" for example the growth in size of the cicada not changing so much during those 4 years of difference between a type cycle of 13 years and the type cycle of 17 years meaning that the derivative "values" of that growth rate are very small compared to what it should be like other species. Also the value of 4 for this letter.
So if we transform 3301 keeping the first 3 for λ (30) and doing gematria calculation for 301 it ends in the number 4 which can be δ (4). So if you sum the 30+4 you get the number 34 or λδ.

So I notice that in Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni, Lambdadelta was the main cause for Rika to have to be stuck in a cycle where it seems that nothing ever changed and it was always the same result in the end. Also considering Rika that never grew up in all those years where she should have turned into an old lady if she was not stuck on the time loop. So the metaphor of Rika being a cicada would make Rika during those supposedly 100 years, before breaking free of the cycle and emerge, to have developed her "self", a metamorphosis creating Frederica Bernkastel which emerged from a 100 years old child that never changed her body during 100 years.
There is also a lot of things related specially with Rika experience and maybe the realm of Witches when interpreting Liber Primus. For example:
A KOAN

DURING A LESSON, THE MASTER EXPLAINED THE I
"THE I IS THE VOICE OF THE CIRCUMFERENCE," HE SAID
WHEN ASKED BY A STUDENT TO EXPLAIN WHAT THAT MEANT; THE MASTER SAID "IT IS A VOICE INSIDE YOUR HEAD"
"I DON'T HAVE A VOICE IN MY HEAD," THOUGHT THE STUDENT, AND HE RAISED HIS HAND TO TELL THE MASTER
THE MASTER STOPPED THE STUDENT, AND SAID "THE VOICE THAT JUST SAID YOU HAVE NO VOICE IN YOUR HEAD; IS THE I"

AND THE STUDENTS WERE ENLIGHTENED
