Well finished.
The trial actually took like half of the full game so I went pretty fast.
First it seems その光その翼 will be a series, the game itself ends on a big cliffhanger.
The game itself was still in build-up phase so it's a bit hard to talk about it, basically this game was only used to develop the setting.
Well it's not like nothing happened, there were some good scenes in the second half, but you really get the feeling it's only the introduction chapter.

The setting itself is really interesting and well thought-out so being infodumped on it isn't too bad, the cast is also quite huge but the characters are all fairly well designed. The PoV also switches quite a bit which keep thing interesting, most of the second half of the game was seen from Marcus' pov who is a pretty interesting character.

Well my main problem with it is still the same as during the trial, the dialogues are too long winded, the narration is a bit overdone. Thankfully the writing is good but the flow could have been a lot better, I can see people being bored with it due to the feeling that things don't advance.

For the production value, the art is god tier, there is an absolutely huge amount of tachi-e, even for the characters who only get one line. The music is standard though I liked the hymns.

A bit hard to rate it since it's just an introduction but I'm looking forward to the sequel.
