If you look at the design of Rokkenjima there are several coastal areas that the tunnel could potentially pass through. Wasn't the tunnel to Kuwadorian something like 2km long?

After all, Battler recognised Beatrice as looking like the one in the portrait. Would he not have recognised the same of Shannon/Kanon or Jessica?
