So I've been playing/reading some Tsukihime lately and want to tell you that durations of the sex scenes were just ridiculous. I got around ten chapters in before having to stop reading, at least temporarily until my disgust towards it subsides a bit.
The plot and the setting were quite intriguing, but then they have to stick that retarded thing there. It felt so contrived and raped all the romance that had been built up that far.
Okay, I understand how Shiki's behaviour at that time might get explanation later on, but to put a sex scene that takes 10 minutes to even browse through just made no sense. Just whose needs does that serve? It was so off-putting that I had to quit the whole game for now.
Now I need someone to suggest me a good VN available in English that isn't ruined by tasteless fanservice, if such a thing exists.
