I feel the problem is Paradox takes too long for the plot to kick in. Most of its Part 1 are teases of villains and dubious characters moving and guiding people like chess pieces as well as reenactments of the VN. But even when you clear it, you are still early in everything and not much happened. You have questions, you have some answers, you know what's going on what you must do, but effectively in the grand scheme of things not much has happened
I really really liked the whole mystery and game, but I know not much has really occurred through the game
