Kids are made by two people. Aside of a few other parts of the story, like the immortality and not really aging thing of mermaids.
And then there's god.

This isn't too unrealistic, although the moment Mitsuki appeared, the actual heroine was completely uninteresting. The route is a little awkward like that, as Mitsuki also drops a few bombs. She is the last mermaid. She apparently ate some really powerful mermaids and didn't have to eat humans for a while, but that's over.
Who the heck wouldn't want to see a bridge between these two games showing that part instead of whatever random dates you see with the heroine? The idol route was much more "story centric" then this route was as well... so it's awkward. Very awkward. Also kinda funny what this implies for Satsukoi.
