Between the bait threads, the chart and the lies about Ryukishi considering "kino"tsukushi the true end, the console shills really ruined their reputation. They didn't seem to understand that in an anonymous space they can't push a narrative the way they can on discord and social media, where people don't want to be impolite by badmouthing the fan project.
Their entire MO relied on the assumption that calling them out for being manipulative assholes would be too awkward to be worth it (people would remember you as that guy who brought up the uncomfortable topic, criticism could be shot down with a simple "just shut up and be thankful the translation exists"). Which just goes to show that they're not native anons but foreign invaders with no understanding of our culture.
