How can FS Reimu be Kosuzu's image of her if Kosuzu thinks that Reimu would never side with youkai and is always fighting them coolly? Meanwhile Reimu is actually butt buddies with some of them, happily drinks tea with them, offenders only get some danmaku up the ass instead of any real wounds and the only time she gets serious is when someone breaks the rules like the fortune teller and the youkai spirit who killed and posessed the rich villager.

I just think that each manga has a different tone, the same way a cheery comedy tv show can suddenly have a sad episode, like that episode in Futurama about Fry's dog.

It's why Reimu and co. always refrain from pointing out that a youkai was near her. Remember the kappa's first appearance in FS where Kosuzu was scared out of her mind, she fantasizes about Reimu beating up youkai too.
