Did ZUN really think Double Spoiler would last long for a lot of players?

Some people finished it within days of its release or days from obtaining it.

Unlike the others where there is getting through the stage and boss, deaths don't mean shit in Double Spoiler. You just restart from the beginning of a spell card.

I've already finished Double Spoiler and it feels like a "that's it?" than a "shit i finally 1cc this".
