Nope, let me explain how you should play the game.

You are supposed to _ALWAYS_ have the NDS opened like a book in girlfriend mode, she will send you messages randomly, sometimes she will want to talk with you, so you are supposed to speak to her in japanese wherever you are, home, school, your job, etc.; gotta feel the surprise fo your coworkers when you speak in japanese to a console shouting "KIMOCHIIIIIII" to the NDS microphone.
And ONLY clos the NDS (STILL ON AND WITH THE ALARM CLOCK PROGRAMMED!) when you go to sleep. or die.

And on top of that, don't ever, ever forget to charge the batteries of the console.
