You get Gekko and Shizuka by picking the "hidden characters" option in the family bonuses, which costs TWENTY FUCKING POINTS.
But it's worth it. They're probably the best characters in the game.

You don't get her in Sengoku Rance, sadly. You see her because she's Gekko's "left arm". You just have to pick the "additional characters" bonus and conquer the Hara House before the first gourd is broken to get the option which recruits him. If you send him alone in a fight, he'll sacrifice himself (and Shinobu ;_;) but you'll win the territory, even if it was a the last one of a country. But you shouldn't do that, as Gekko is the best ninja of the game.

If you want to see Shinobu's H-scene, play Kichikuou rance. She's a kunoichi.
