You were correct on why I specifically chose beer.

I intended the half-drunk guy to be the one who said "Hold my beer"as well, because he would be the "new" guy unfamiliar with how the bar works (the "rules and customs"), and the tendencies of the customers.

I hope to address the Wurmbreaker at a later point.
