Sorry I didn’t get to reply sooner!

If you just want to change the button assignments it tells you how in the booklet, even in Japanese. You hold two buttons, wait for a light I think and hit assign button and it will alter the button assignments to a conventional dual shock layout or back again.

If you want to physically change the buttons all you need to do is unscrew the bottom and just pop out and swap the buttons into the desired config!
