ZUN doesn't give that much fuss over how fans or other people interpret his works, especially in the magazine meant also as gateway for the fandom.
I mean, ZUN is definitely more strict with actual canon manga and print works, but even there are things he overlooked there sometimes.

I don't know what exactly do you want to know, but she had a short article on SoPM where she talks about dai-shogi, and, in a SoPM related interview ZUN made some comments about she being a handy girl or something like that.

Her appearance in Oriental Sacred Place(pic related) has wolf ears, while in the one in SoPM she doesn't. Interesting. In one of the pics she appears in SoPM, she is besides another Hakurou, which has wolf ears, while Momiji herself hasn't. It's not known if it's an error, if ZUN retconned her wolf-ears of if he simply was too drunk to remember

And while we are talking about fandom misrepresentations, Momiji is not Aya's junior/admirer/lapdog, in Double Spoiler its mentioned that she get into fights with Aya easily when they meet. Hatate on the other hand seems to have some admiration for her
