Hey guys, Hig VN newbie here again. I posted in the 07 thread around July, though didn't say much cause I was in the middle of the 1st arc.
I have now just finished the 3rd Arc of the VN.
I've got my own theories of what I think is going on I'm sharing with a friend who's completed it. He thinks it's funny to see me guess.
Anyways, aside from my own thoughts on that, man this arc was fucking grim.
It's probably my favorite for that reason though; there's just so much tragedy but also a lot of tension.
When it was revealed that Keiichi was going to kill the uncle, I remember that catching me off-guard.
The part I think at the hospital in the final chapter where he seems to finally have a shred of guilt at committing murder actually made me shed a tear.
Even just that shred of humanity was such a contrast to how cold he seemed as he slowly numbed his consciousness towards the end of this portion of the story.

Yeah, this was my favorite arc so far.
Not sure if the any of the other ones are going to top this one, but it's on to Himatsubushi.
