It really goes by the person OP.

For example I went on a 2ch thread about a Japanese game that was getting a focused western release, and I bashed the devs on the thread saying how I disliked gaijins and they should pander to their Japanese fanbase and not secondaries.

The best reply I got was "how fucking racist are you". So yeah, some of them are not, but it depends on the person.
