But, then, if the "base reality" world of Gou from ep18 to ep20 is the fake, then what is the real world? Satoko's loops? They're just fakes within the fake...
Okay. What if. Ep18-20 is the fake world. Satoko is looping within fragments of that world. The NPC Rikas she met there are from that world. HOWEVER, the Rika that died(?) in St. Lucia during 1988 and starting looping with Satoko? She was pulled from the real Matsuribayashi. This Rika never even went to St. Lucia with Satoko.
